Periodic Table of Elements

A group of both international and American printmakers set out to create each of the 118 elements in the periodic table, that lovable chart they all made us memorize in chemistry class.


"Ninety-six printmakers of all experience levels, have joined together to produce 118 prints in any medium; woodcut, linocut, monotype, etching, lithograph, silkscreen, or any combination. The end result is a periodic table of elements intended to promote both science and the arts."

Pretty impressive project, if you ask me. Especially since I have always been partial to the sciences. These are a few of my favorites:

These are great. they remind me of our old visual literacy class.
