ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: George Pfromm II

Known as HonoluluDogFight on skineart.com, George Pfromm II is definitely one of my favorite artists on the moleskin aficionado blog. His retro 1940/50s cartooning style is simple yet dynamic. He uses simple lines and shapes to make quirky little characters, which he features in his moleskin-comics. I especially love his thick brushstroke inking style, a far cry from what we all see in current Marvel/DC comics. Although he's not the first to use this look in his work, I admire it nonetheless.
