Alien Raver Interlude

More to see over at my blog. Hope to update my website soon!

Neonite

A return to using Sharpies and Prismacolor markers were in order last night. The resulting look is very much to my liking, so I am going to implement it in my sketches from now on (or at least until I find another way I like better). More drawings can be seen over at my blog.

Life Drawing Session

I managed to finally attend a life drawing class at SVA. I can't wait until March is over: I'm always exhausted and never seem to have time to work on anything personal. Just a few more days…

Summer Heimdall

It's been a long and busy month. Haven't been able to put out as many Alien Raver sketches as I originally intended, but I will try to make it up to everyone by drawing like a madwoman in April! I present to you a new character: Summer Heimdall. She will be appearing in the next few pages. Although I don't want to give up too much information, I'll tell you this: Her name foreshadows her significance within the story and you've briefly seen a version of her in the beginning of the comic. Confused yet? Well, the answers will be here soon!

More sketches to come in the following weeks until Alien Raver's triumphant return.

Trinity

The pit-moshing, doo-wopping and air-guitaring as-of-yet-nameless protagonist of my comic Alien Raver.

Experiments with foxes

I re-worked these sketches last night while at work. I like this direction, and might apply similar, surrealist-ish elements in a series of etchings I am currently working on. I have a few more sketches in my moleskine that need finishing touches (including a neglected family portrait), so I'll be adding those shortly!

Old Woman

Wrinkly old lady with a 'tude.

Painted over a lousy sketch.

amalgamation

More ink studies from class.

Figure Drawing Resumed, Week 7

I might revisit these sketches in the near future and add on some magical macabre silliness.

Sketch Book Update

I decided today to scan and post my sketches that have been festering in my sketch book. Alot of it is just random doodles and ideas that I do during my idle time at work, which usually isnt much.
